The Great Chart village within Ashford sits on the outskirts near Singleton, just outside the town centre, dating back to the 8th Century.

The location of the area provides a great sense of village life mixed with close proximity to the bustling town centre as well as being within a short drive to villages such as Bethersden, High Halden and the beautiful small town of Tenterden.

Within the village there are two pubs, the Swan and Dog as well as the Little Black Dog. They are both excellent village pubs, with the Swan and Dog serving beautiful food. There is also a local hairdresser next to the little black Dog called Ivy Grace Hair, which has fabulous reviews on Google.

Even though there are no local shops, Waitrose is only a short drive down the main road, with a little McColl’s in Singleton. Within the village there is also Great Chart primary school, holding an outstanding Ofsted report.
